ScanTool
Pocket PC-based
The software is a complete OBD-II implementation. Something
we offer that the others don’t:
-
Bi-directional support. You have the ability to initiate system
and component tests.1
-
Reporting of Monitored System components. If a system test
fails now you can see the results from the failing component.1
-
VIN reporting.1
-
KWP2000 support and CAN (optional) support.
-
Support for the new extended
sensor list (that's 79 sensors--not
32).
-
Wide-band O2 sensor support.1
-
O2 sensor test results. See sample plots of what you are to
expect.
-
Wireless (optional) and touch screen-enabled.
-
Most importantly—ALL THREE vehicle interfaces. This is
a savings of hundreds of dollars over the competitors unit.
Our newly updated connector comes with our latest software release
version 2.0. Including new features such as wireless (optional)
and touch screen support. Independant service shops and emissions
training centers will enjoy never having to mess with cumbersome
cables or use a pesky mouse again. Also, version 2.0 has large color-coded
meters and more diagnostic trouble codes. As with all our software
updates--it's free!
Quickly switch between different units of measure in real-time.
If your service guide or information is in metric (SI) or English,
you can change the ScanTool to display all of the units—from
sensor data to maximum sensor values—without restarting the
ScanTool, and while live vehicle data is streaming in.
With OBD II’s ScanTool you have the ability to view
all 11 of the inspection/maintenance system test results. These
system tests can also be used to determine if the work performed
fixed the problem or whether the vehicle will pass your local OBD-II-based
emissions tests. Should a system test fail, you can query the system
component or test module for the numerical test results to isolate
the faulty component, or even request a specific system test to
run.1

Use the data logging feature to record your vehicle's diagnostic
trouble codes and live sensor data in delimited text or XML file
formats. Now you can share your findings with your customer or with
other mechanics. Having trouble finding an intermittent issue? Data
logging will help there too.
It's important to have the right tools for the job. Don't waste
your time with tools that require you to look-up codes in a book,
that can't display the data in graphs, and aren't capable of being
configured or updated. With OBD II Pro Plus' ScanTool you will have
full diagnostic code descriptions displayed, visually preview live
sensor data in three convenient formats, and enjoy the ability to
configure and update your ScanTool as vehicle manufacturer's interfaces
change. Buy the one tool that will help you diagnose all your OBD-II
compliant vehicles, buy OBD II Pro Plus' ScanTool.
